Preacher Cosplay: Herr Starr and The Grail

Whether you plan to hit up comic con this year, or you are looking for a unique Halloween costume (or perhaps both), look no further than the eccentric cast of characters on AMC's Preacher for inspiration.

The Suit

The most significant piece of Herr Starr's wardrobe is his crisp, clean, white suit. We found this one on Amazon, and for a 3-piece suit the price can't be beat. If you're looking to go even thriftier, visit your local Salvation Army, Goodwill, or other second hand store for a bright white suit.

The Tie

Without Herr Starr's signature red tie, you'd just be a guy (or gal) in a white suit. Check out this red tie we found on Amazon for only $9.99.

The Eye

The Scar

This one may take a little skill, but we did find plenty of tutorials on Youtube to give you some help in creating Herr Starr's eye scars. This one was our favorite out of the bunch from Hailey Barnes, and she even provides links to the products she uses to create the scars:

Hats, Hats, Hats

If you've been paying attention, you've noticed that Herr Starr has been sporting a variety of hats in recent episodes. Or take a page out of the comics for inspiration:

We found this white Panama hat on Amazon, and a thick red ribbon can easily be placed over the black one:

Lara Featherstone

Featherstone would be a great costume on its own, or paired with Herr Starr or Hoover for a unique couple's / friends costume. Find a white suit of your choice, and instead of the red tie opt for a women's red shirt like this one found on Amazon:
