Exclusive Preacher Forums Interview: Talk to Tammy

No one can forget the beloved, real, gritty, no-nonsense strip club owner, Tammy, played by the lovely Jeanette O'Conner. She added heart, soul, and even tragedy to a dark corner of our world.

And without further ado.....and definitely without further adon't.....

Ralph: Hi Jeanette, I really loved your character Tammy

Jeanette: Thanks Ralph!

R: How was your experience on set and auditioning?

J: Seth & Evan were the best and gave me liberties to do what I wanted with Tammy

R: Oh, a little of the ole ad lib??

J: yeah they let me add some stuff but I kept pretty much to the script

R: And Dominic and Ruth got to work with you!

J: Dominic & Ruth were so complimentary, and here I am working with an Academy Award nominee, (didn't even realize it at the time) and she's telling ME I'm amazing...still trying to wrap my head around that

R: I thought you were all amazing. The chemistry between the three of you was great! And you're role was fantastic. What a way to die!!

J: It was a long day, 15 hours...and freezing on the set, I could hardly walk by the time I got back to the hotel at 2:30 a.m....LOL. yes we really connected with each other, yes just all in one day, and when I talked about God in one take, I was getting teary-eyed, and no one would know this, but Dominic actually had tears in his eyes and the camera was on me!

R: Oh, interesting info! Tears from the long day, the cold, or the conversation?

J: From the conversation.

R: I hear Dominic is a pretty sensitive guy

J: I LOVED THEM BOTH

R: Is there any background they gave you about your character aside from what was related in dialogue? Or even background that you gave her yourself?

J: There was very little info actually, everything was so secretive, but they were all so wonderful to me on the set! OMG I loved them all

R: I'm totally jealous! Now you know I have to ask this: What more do you think Tammy could have told Jesse about god if she hadn't happened to pass away right at that moment? lol

J: she kinda said it all, 'you will shit yourself' :)

R: HA! So its like meeting Andy Dick. There is a lot of props on the wall behind you in that scene. I couldn't read a lot of it. Any Easter Eggs mixed in there that you know of?

J: Never had a chance to study the wall LOL

R: Thanks for sharing with me, Jeanette, and thanks for the pics! And good luck on any upcoming roles.

J: Thanks so much. You're the best!

Addendum:

J: Oh and what they didn't use in the scene? She tells them that God said people would be after him, people like them, probably, trying to stop him, but no one is supposed to know from doing what..he was pretty particular about that!

R: Oh, thank you for that! It makes me wonder what that rascal god is up to!
